SEOUL, Jan. 27(Yonhap) – S. Korean actress Kim Da-mi (27), who constantly transforms into different characters in each work, has succeeded again this time.

Kim Da-mi, who drew attention of the viewers by playing roles with strong characteristics in the movie "The Witch" and the drama "Itaewon Class," showed realistic acting of romance by playing Kook Yeon-su, who seems to be living around us, in the SBS TV Monday and Tuesday drama "Our Beloved Summer.”

In “Our Beloved Summer,” Kim Dami received favorable reviews for depicting various aspects of the character Kook Yeon-su, such as an officer work in her late twenties and an adorable couple, who never relies on others.

Kim said, "I had to show 10 years of Yeon-su’s life so I had concerns about expressing her changes,” adding, “I tried to show the differences between a high school girl and a businesswoman. I think I will never forget it.”

Kim Da-mi thanked Choi Woo-shik, who showed an outstanding harmony with the actress. The two, who reunited after the movie "The Witch," made the viewers so immersed that they were called "Choi Woong-shik" and "Kook Da-mi."

"When I first heard that the male lead was Woo-shik, I thought I could have fun. It was comfortable because we already knew each other. I relied on him so much that I think Yeon-su wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for Woong.”

Kim added, "I tried to work with Woo-shik a lot on the spot since the true aspects of Yeon-su come out when she’s with Woong,” adding, "Woo-shik really felt like Woong."

"The comment saying that Woong and Yeon-su seem to be living somewhere is my favorite. I hope you can imagine the two living together somewhere.”
