SEOUL, May 19 (Yonhap) -- Jeonnam Girls’ Commercial High School announced on Thursday that the ‘BTS J-hope Scholarship’ and the certificate of scholarship have been delivered to 10 students on May 18th.

BTS’s J-hope (birth name: Jung Ho-seok) donated a 100 million won scholarship to Chuntae Academy, a foundation of his school (International High School) through the Gwangju Regional Headquarters of Child Fund Korea in 2019.

The J-hope scholarship will be given over five years.

In this fourth year, 10 students with excellent academic performance and good behavior were selected and paid 500,000 won per person.

So far, a total of 40 students have received the J-hope scholarships, with a total amount of 20 million won.
