GOT7 ranks No.1 on iTunes top album charts in 95 countries

SEOUL, May 25 (K-odyssey) -- Group GOT7 has made a globally successful comeback with its new album “GOT7.”

The group’s new mini-album “GOT7,” which was released on the 23rd at 6 p.m. (KST), topped the worldwide iTunes album chart and European iTunes album chart on the 24th, at the same time, according to the agency Warner Music Korea, on Wednesday.

The album also ranked No. 1 on the iTunes top album charts in 95 countries and regions around the world, including Japan, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, and Singapore.

Warner Music Korea explained that GOT7 is the second K-pop artist to top the iTunes top album charts in more than 90 countries and regions.

In addition, the group’s title song “NANANA” ranked No. 1 on the iTunes top song charts in 71 countries and regions including Brazil, Colombia, India, and Spain, and ranked No. 3 on the iTunes song chart, as well as No. 2 on the worldwide iTunes song chart.
