SEOUL, Jan. 28 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group Brave Girls’ Yuna tested positive for the new coronavirus as a series of infected cases follow one after another in the music industry.

“Member Yuna has tested positive for COVID-19,” announced Brave Entertainment on the group’s official fan cafe, Friday.

Yuna was found to have completed the second shot of COVID-19 vaccine.

“Yuna wasn’t feeling well yesterday and the PCR test result came out positive today morning,” explained the agency.

“Yu-jeong, Eun-ji, and the staffs all tested negative. Considering the incubation period, we will continue to conduct PCR tests with self-test kits,” explained the agency.

Among the four members, Min-young has recently suspended her activities for a while due to health problems.

With 10,000 confirmed cases pouring out everyday due to the Omicron variant, the music industry is also on alert.

Members from OMEGA X, iKON, WINNER, THE BOYZ, WEi, TREASURE, Kep1er, and IZ*ONE’s Kwon Eun-bi have tested positive for COVID-19.
